At Nain, Jesus meets a grieving widow before death has the final word. His compassion interrupts the procession and creates room for resurrection where everyone else expects only burial.
We are challenged not to carry hope to the graveyard too quickly. Christ can meet us in what appears finished and awaken possibility before we accept loss as the end of the story.
