The twelve spies reveal how confirmation bias can make us see only what fear already expects. The same land can look like promise or defeat depending on the assumptions governing our vision. We are called to clear fear-filled thinking, stop measuring ourselves by comparison, and see through faith. God’s promise must become louder than the evidence we use to reinforce unbelief.
